“ I'm a 67 year old white male with an affinity for good home cooking. I started going to the whistle stop after my mom told me I ate way too many pancakes. I ate 67 in one sitting at the whistle stop! My favorite thing to eat at the whistle stop is the 67 Oz. Fried fish platter and the 6.7 oz serving of pudding. You have to try the owners special 67 sauce which they slather on everything. It is to die for! I could drink the 67 sauce by the gallon. The ambiance is simply amazing. Most of the waitresses are a perfect 6.7 out of 10. Some of them are so beautiful I would walk 6.7 uphill both ways in the freezing cold just to get a serving of 67 sauce. Don't take my word for it. Go here immediately and make sure you have enough money. I can guarantee you will tip higher than 6.7%!! ”
“ We went to the whistle stop for their ribs night. Whole lot of good food at an amazing price. The ribs were nice and tender. The bbq sauce was alright not great but not bad. The pickles and coleslaw was really good. The pork n beans and cornbread were alright, nothing special there. But the pulled pork and the side of mac and cheese were amazing. I'd go back just to get more of those two. The mac and cheese alone is a meal. With two of us, there was a ton of leftovers and all for $25. Really great local place to go. ”
